Year around enjoyment... the spa

For many people who don't have the room necessary for a pool in their yard, or don't enjoy swimming, a spa is a wonderful solution.

Spas can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. They can be used for therapeutic relaxation or they can be the spot where the family gathers to discuss the events of the day.

You can enjoy the relaxing comforts day and night. Heating the spa to the proper temperature takes less than an hour. For many people, the spa affords a small space where they can get away from the daily bustle of life and spend some time alone. It is the perfect spot to spend 10-15 minutes doing soul searching, meditating, or planning the activities of the next day.

Happy New Year! I feel really encouraged about the year 2012 being prosperous and positive. This is so, largely because I am a dragon and this is the Year of the Dragon. Those born in the years 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000 and any new babies born in 2012 will be dragons according to Chinese Astrology. It is said to be an expansive, combustible, energetic, and exhilarating year in which caution is thrown to the wind and grandiose schemes and adventures are embarked upon.

Everything and everyone is touched by the dragon's indomitable spirit and colossal ambition. Thus, I am going to heed this advice and make it a good year. I hope you will do the same. Recently we sent you a survey of how we are doing. Please take a moment to look at the results of our survey that many of you participated in.

New Technology Rocks!

Technology continues to leap forward in ways that touch all aspects of our life. Now in the swimming pool industry, there are tools that allow you to control your pool/spa and outdoor living via the touch of your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, PC and soon your Android Smartphone. Until now, we have installed pool and spa controllers with a wired system that is wall-mounted. This has been the method; however, now everyone wants to control their pool/spa with the device they carry in their pocket.

Pool Remodeling: The New Wave

The kids are back to school and the pool is too cold to go swimming so it is a good time to start that pool remodel project so that things are back in shape for the coming 2012 swim season. As you can imagine, many pools in this area that were built in the earlier days are simply beat up. Not to mention the decking, the equipment and the plumbing all get to a point of being shot. We specialize in pool remodeling where the worst part of the job, digging the hole, is already done. You can add a spa, elevate the pool, place new decking, new plumbing, and add whatever outdoor living features that you might want. We are always eager for this time of year to get started on pool remodel projects. I am more than glad to come out, give your project an assessment and put together an itemized proposal.

I enjoy Pentair Pool Products equipment because it makes my customers happy. Happy because it is quality equipment that out performs any other manufacturer in the industry and Pentair continues to improve upon their equipment in so many ways; such as quieter, smarter, and greener just to name a few. I call it the Cadillac of equipment; you might pay a little more for it but it is a complete package that works together, has great service and great features. So, I guess we are the Cadillac of pool builders, why not use Pentair equipment.
