Do you like being on time and on budget? Do you like not having to worry about any problems with your project? If so, John is your guy! He has a lot of experience and can offer advice and suggestions when the choices become overwhelming. John is always looking ahead, making sure there are no roadblocks and if something comes up, he is there with a solution.
He knows what the plan is every day and sends you video updates to let you know what is happening daily. His crew is professional and keeps the place tidy at the end of the day. We have been outside almost daily since this project was completed, and we are loving how everything turned out!

I’m writing this review for those of you looking to update your pool. We had a pool installed about 20 years ago What started out is just a replacement of expansion joint, then became a little larger of a project. We realized we should replace the cultured stone that have been eaten away by the saltwater pool. We also wanted to save our pebble tech since it was in good shape. We received two quotes both didn’t feel they could save the pebble tech or wanted to maybe be a little more aggressive and try to get us to replace pebble tech as well. Our third quote came from John at Sunset, builders and designers John has been in the area for many years and a few of my close friends have used him in the past I talked to my friends for the recommendation in John came out to look at the pool He was the only one that felt he could save the pebble tech. His quote also came in very fair and reasonable. We were able to save the pedal tech and John made a few other suggestions that really made the end result come together perfectly One of the best things working with John is his daily follow up Not only does John come by daily usually first thing in the morning, but he also wraps up his day by creating a video of what took place that day and what is expected for the next Something I’m not used to seeing with contractors today, but that kind of follow up is unparalleled in his industry I would highly recommend John in his company if you have any thoughts of wanting to update your pool

Sunset Designers & Builders completely transformed our backyard and we couldn’t be happier with the entire process. They demolished our old backyard that was overgrown and unusable and built a new pool, jacuzzi, and patio exactly the way we envisioned it. We couldn't be happier with our brand new pool, and we owe it all to the incredible team at Sunset Designers and Builders. From the very first consultation to the final walk-through, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. The design phase was where they really impressed us. They took the time to listen carefully to what we wanted (something modern yet relaxing) with space for entertaining and unwinding. We shared some ideas that we had, including a waterfall feature and integrated hot tub, and not only did they take those ideas seriously, but they improved on them in ways we hadn't even considered. Their expertise truly showed in how beautifully everything came together. The final result is absolutely stunning. The waterfall feature creates a peaceful, resort like vibe in our backyard, and the hot tub is seamlessly built into the design. The quality of work is excellent, and we've already had so many compliments from friends and family.
