Location: Park Estates, Long Beach
This pool was designed and built with the function of a lap pool, yet still had an area for non-lap swimmers to play around.
With clean, contemporary lines, this pool serves both function and aesthetic beauty. The spitters make an attractive water feature, yet when they are off they become nondescript.
Having a lap lane for an active swimmer that was not the main attraction of the pool. A typical lap pool is very boring.
This design incorporated a pool play area that served a function and broke up the look of the lap pool. The raised wall with spitters behind the lap lane become more of a focal point than the lap lane.
